Philip Seers joined Saïd Holdings after a long career in global finance, which started off at Credit Suisse First Boston Ltd. in 1968, where he was principally involved in the Eurobond primary market and worked in London, New York and Tokyo. He then spent 14 years at Phoenix Securities as a managing partner, focused on corporate finance in the financial services sector and private equity investment. He subsequently spent three years at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) as managing director, European Corporate Finance, after DLJ took over Phoenix.
He is a graduate of Balliol College, Oxford and Harvard Business School (PMD programme), and serves as a trustee for the Saïd Business School.
